Obama Approval Drops to New Low of 40%

President Obama’s job approval rating is at a new low, averaging 40% in July 26-28 Gallup Daily tracking.

It’s interesting to note that once a President’s Gallup approval rating falls below 48%, chances of re-election are quite grim. This, of course, is an indicator that increases in accuracy the closer we are to the election. We’re still over a year away.
