Gay Activists Admit to Attacking Southern Baptists

Todd Starnes at Fox News Radio

When I preach on adultery, I’m sure there are people in the congregation that are involved in the sin of adultery, but I don’t hate them…I’m just teaching what the Bible says. When I talk to teenagers on premarital sex, I’m sure some of them are not abstaining, but I don’t hate them. I’m just sharing with them what God’s word says about sexual purity.

Beautifully stated.

Southern Baptists Face Online Attack

Todd Starnes at Fox News Radio:

Officials with the Southern Baptist Convention said they have been the victim of an elaborate online hoax that included a phony press release announcing the nation’s largest Protestant denomination had changed its position on homosexuality.

“Elaborate hoax” is a nice way of putting it. What this group did is tantamount to corporate identity theft. Where did this group get the money to pull this off?

Oil Rebounds as Markets Await IEA Stocks

Reuters via CNBC:

Brent crude rebounded by more than $1 from a four-month low on Friday as traders and investors attempted to gauge the actual impact a release of emergency oil stockpiles coordinated by the International Energy Agency will have on supplies…The IEA said it would make available 60 million barrels of government-held stocks in the global market, immediately increasing world supply by some 2.5 percent for the next month, and sending prices spiraling down, with U.S. crude erasing all of the year’s gains.

Yes, please. Let’s release a 3.2 day supply of oil over 60 days. That will fix this mess.

UPDATE: CNBC has drastically changed this article since I first linked to it.
